A fully assembled four-wheel-drive robot, the MiniQ Cross Country comes ready to roll out of the box—all you need is a PC with an Arduino IDE and some batteries. This latest version features higher ground clearance, a bigger approach angle, and better off-road capability in rough terrain. The device comes with an Arduino Leonardo controller (ATmega32u4) and can be integrated with tons of other modules like LEDs, infrared transmitters, light sensors, additional buttons, and really anything you can dream up. What’s more, there’s also eight different lessons to help you familiarize yourself with the platform. The lessons tackle everything from setting up the robot to obstacle avoidance and encoding.
