Teach Your Kids to Program

Give your child a lesson in programming early on and they’ll more than likely have a leg up in the future. The Vortex is an easy-to-program mini robot for kids that’s built on the open-source hardware platform of Arduino. It comes with four fun and intuitive games—like Bumping Fight, Virtual Golf, and Robot Soccer—to help your kids learn about robotics and start developing programming skills. Compatible with Android and iOS devices via the app, it offers a hands-on experience. Once connected, you can move the bot around by simply tapping the screen and using various commands on your device. And with the Scratch software, all you’ll need to do is drag, drop, and hit upload—there’s no programming background necessary.

Note: This drop has limited quantities available.
