Would have bought it if it had a sapphire caseback. Very lazy of them not to. Now it might as well be a quartz.

Celestiasmeh, all see through casbacks are bad, they add unncessary thickness to the watch. No need for a glass case. Rolex 3135 is beautiful and they still cover it with a steel caseback - completely undecorated.

TigerUKThank you for your polite opinion. In my opinion, since this is already a bulky watch by design yet not even a diving watch, a sapphire caseback is not only a good option, but it's even outright recommended, because it fits with the design. On the other hand, for a slim watch design, I understand and agree about the steel caseback.

CelestiasLook at those lazy folks at Rolex. No display caseback. How lazy of them. Might as well all be quartz watches... Do you see how stupid your comment sounds?
