Is it accurate to say that the DockCase with the HD Power Adapter you can drive two 4K monitors?

HutcHJCIt can only drive one 4K monitor with DockCase HD Power Adapter; if you wanna drive another one, you need to connect it via the MacBook Pro USB-C port.
Cool to see this drop again. I wish that the micro-fiber-leather came in colors aside from black. I mean, I like black. I wear black. I probably wear too much black. Trying to move away from looking like a stagehand and having things that dont look like they belong to Darth Vader.

CalaverasgrandeCurrently, we only have the Black color version for the Sleever version. Well, I will forward this to our team for further consideration.

"4K at 30Hz, 1080p at 60Hz". Let me rephrase that: 1080p at 60Hz, everything else above it, at 30Hz. Lately there's a lot of drops that feel like "couldn't sell it anywhere else, so I dumped it on Massdrop."

BrusicAll MacBook Pros with Thunderbolt 3 ports released from Oct. 2016 can work with DockCase products.
some pics of the product in active use would be helpful. Do you plug in a display and keybaord and use it in the case? Does the case fold open? Do you take the Mac out and then plug it in? +1 for the compressed microfiber vegan leather. I have some shoes made of the same stuff and it's very durable and compatible with compassionate lifestyles.

I have one of these that I got with the initial Kickstarter. At that point anything remotely portable to give my 15" MBP useful ports was neither portable nor cheap. It works well and I haven't had any issues. The quality is nice and it added enough ports for me to do what I need on the go while adding some protection. Do keep in mind that this is large and may not fit if you have a backpack or bag that is already snug for your MacBook. I only have a few minor complaints. First, when placed under the laptop you either have to slide it way off to the side (almost farther than the cord can reach) or have the laptop sit at an angle since the end with the hub is fatter. Second is that the cord does have to bend and flex to connect since the laptop in is on the long edge and the MBP's ports are on the short edge. The included cable is nice, but I could see that causing eventual failure. Finally, the smooth surface combined with the slight angle and protruding cord means you really want to use this on a stable surface away from traffic to avoid everything falling. Those issues aside, it's still one of the more elegant solutions I've seen aside from a smaller portable dock with fewer ports or dongle hell.

Magic4644Hi Magic4644, thank you backing DockCase on Kickstarter and nice to see you enjoy the DockCase, though there are still some imperfections. I will forward these to our PM team for further optimization. If you feel the provided USB-C cable is a little short and not that easy for us, you could get one featured USB-C 3.1 Gen.2 or Thunderbolt 3 for replacement. For example, this one: https://www.amazon.com/Charging-Syncing-MacBook-Samsung-Smartphone/dp/B07MX31ZWD

I don't get it... So how do you exactly use your laptop?

KITTYYou basically sit your MBP on top of it and use the included cable to connect to the input on the long edge near the corner. I have one and posted some thoughts in the discussion.

KITTYJust take the laptop from the sleeve and put it above or aside it, connect the back USB-C port backside the sleeve and one in your MBP with the provided USB-C cable. Here's the video to help you learn more details: https://youtu.be/jNxipkB2xmM.
