It would be great if these were sent out to reviewers before appearing here. We have nothing to go on. This is particularly tricky with tactile switches as there is little agreement on what is tactile.
MonkeyspitThese are probably just a release of standard Kailh box tactiles with colored plastic. Just compare spring force with other Kailh tactiles to know how these would feel. The 62g spring is a Box Brown, 67g is a hair under Box Burnt Orange.
HerpDerpenbergSpring weight does not tell you how tactile it is... Holy pandas are lighter than Halo trues/clears but are more tactile, Zealios v2 62g are lighter than mx clears but are way more tactile. Stop giving out false information
JosephtuleFalse information? Comparing springs between Zealios, MX and Kailh is not what I was saying. A comparison of spring weights on Kailh box switches is a better estimate. I would highly doubt that they went through and made a custom stem just for these switches.
Notice the word "probably" in my original statement. It's called an assumption.
HerpDerpenbergI in no way thought he was spreading false information. And actually spring weight can change tactility. You mentioned zealios? Go look at reviews between 60, 62, 65, 67g versions. I forget if it’s 62 or 65 that everyone hates but there ya go spring changes tactility even in the same brand and family of switches. False information mr know it all lady
MdotMaxsonReplying to the wrong guy, but yeah. Your tactility is determined by spring weights, profile of the stem, leaf design, type of lubrication and even the stabilizer and/or type/weight of the keycap you are using.
HerpDerpenbergOh I meant to reply to you cause I was saying you weren’t out of line like he was saying but ended up shifting the response geared at the other guy
