I just received my keyboard today and I have some words to say. I'm typing on this keyboard now.
This keyboard has great build quality - the keycaps feel like fine plastic (very similar to the one on CODE keyboard) although they are ABS'. The connection is easy and I had mine set up in 10 seconds.
Ok, these are all the pros.
Here are the cons:
- You may not feel it strange from the product picture; when you type with this layout, I guarantee you typos! And the backspace is in some pain-in-the-*** position which makes the correction process a huge pain. I have about 30 keyboards(I'm a collector) and my average typing speed is around 110 wpm. On this one? I've tried 5 times and my best score was 80wpm. TYPOS TYPOS TYPOS!
The letter keys are shifted from your normal keyboard, and the most painful thing is the location of the number keys. The entire number row is shifted one key to the right!!!!!!
This will drive you, who used to type some symbols/numbers on a tkl keyboard, crazy!
Your "!" will become "~" and your "2" will become "1".
I'll add this keyboard to my keyboard collection. They look good.
I'll never use it. It's not about "getting used to". Trust me, if you get used to this keyboard, you will not be type to on any other keyboards on this planet.
( and don't even think about playing games on it. you will never select the right weapon!)
sounds like a $80 wall decoration disguises as a functional keyboard. :T touche
