For those who know: which ruler is better? This one, the EZ quilt one or the Quick curve ruler?

SandraHdzHi @SandraHdz,
I've used this Double Wedding Ring Template set from Marti Michell and the Quick Curve Ruler.
The Quick Curve Ruler is a single ruler that can make a large variety of patterns designed by Sew Kind of Wonderful just for the ruler that they invented. The Metro Rings is one of their most popular patterns that is a contemporary update to the traditional Double Wedding Ring pattern. http://sewkindofwonderful.com/products/metro-rings-paper-pattern
Double Wedding Ring Template set from Marti Michell includes 7 templates. You can use them to make the traditional Double Wedding Ring quilt or a variety of other traditional patterns such as Robbing Peter to Pay Paul, Lafayette's Orange Peel, Pickle Dish, Patti's Improved Pinwheel, Improved Nine Patch, and more. Instructions for all these quilt patterns are included in the 28-page instruction booklet. You can see pictures of the other patterns on Marti Michell's website. https://frommarti.com/dwr.shtml
The EZ Quilting Double Wedding Ring Template Set in combination with the Single Arc Template is most similar to this set of templates by Marti Michell. The resulting blocks look similar but the EZ Quilting version use square corners instead of tapered diamond corners. These templates only make the Double Wedding Ring quilt and is not intended to be adapted to other quilt patterns.
Hope this helps!

SandraHdzI haven't worked with the EZ quilt ruler but I do have the Marti Michell templates and love them. Although the templates are awesome, the included booklet really makes this set the clear front runner for me.
The instruction book is fantastic. It includes fabric requirement for different sized quilts, instructions for all of the designs, tips for sewing curved seams, different methods for finishing your quilt (binding curved edges, facings, etc.) It even has design sheets you can colour in to plan your quilt and offers suggested quilting designs. It's a really fantastic resource.
