As someone who’s a true enthusiast of denim, having worked with Tellason and sold many denim brands throughout my years in menswear retail, I was surprised by some of the details I saw in Doublewood: hand-hammered hidden rivets, fully lined back pockets, two-tone fell stitching and custom fabrics are details I rarely see at this price point.
For those who geek out about denim factories, Doublewood is made in the same garment district as Red Cloud Overall Mfg & Co, a Chinese denim company with cult following amongst denim heads.
The following fade example is from a 1.5 year old pair in the indigo version of this denim.
