The Douk Audio A100 is an A+ power amp with a ton of versatility packed into a refreshingly small package. The core of its functionality comes in its four modes of operation. One toggle switch on the front lets you swap between stereo to bridged mono, which means you can either deliver traditional stereo functionality, or put all 600 watts of Class D power toward a single channel for maximum amplification. The other toggle switch lets you focus that power on the full frequency spectrum or on a setup that leans toward bass—making the A100 a perfect addition for subwoofer-oriented systems. The other trick the A100 brings to the table is its unique integrated heat sink temperature management. Rather than relying on airflow alone, this amp incorporates dissipation into the chassis itself so that it runs cool and looks sleek doing it. It’s all assembled with equally A+ components, including a TI TPA3255 Class D amplification chip, Japanese Rubycon components, and high-precision German WIMA capacitors and potentiometers.
