With Douk Audio P1 PLUS, that warm tube amplification is complemented by yet another little something special: a high-end DAC to serve as the brains and the beauty of your setup. The DAC side of the house brings excellent detail supporting up to 384 kilohertz and 32-bit with DSD256 capabilities via the USB input, and up to 192 kilohertz, 24-bit resolution using the coaxial or optical inputs. There are also a ton of output options, including stereo RCA, 3.5-millimeter auxiliary, and 3.5-millimeter headphone jack, plus an optical output that’ll work only with USB inputs. Then there’s the preamp portion of things—supported by all the richness you’d expect with a pair of JAN5654 tubes included right out of the box (though you can swap in 6J1, 6K4, 6J5, and more compatible tubes to your taste). It all comes packed in a beautiful white, retro-looking chassis complete with a pluggable VU meter to really drive the vintage vibes home.
