Are these watts RMS, Peak power or Dynamic power, and is it wpc or total watts combined both channels ? The watt language needs to be cleaned up. This unit is not for me especially with my earlier post of 30 Hz low end, which will cut off lower frequencies almost like some 1970's rock lp's were intentionally recorded. Why not listen to ALL of the music, instead of listening to only most of what's on the recording, missing the lowest notes ! BOO !
luvmusikDouk's site also uses the name Nobsound and Little Bear or One Little Bear are their other branded line of audio products, just info if it helps.
I would buy this if it allowed down to 14 Hz, as for A/B use with 2 amps and 2 sets of speakers. The amount of watts at 4 ohm ( and 2 ohm ! ) that it can handle without burning out is impressive for a switchbox. And, the VU meters are nice. Plus it has a protection circuit and a remote, and backlite colors and brightness settings for those meters. But 30 Hz is just inadequate, what a shame. BOO ! One pair of speakers here reach down to 14 Hz and the other pair 16 Hz...it's nice to "feel" those very deep frequencies listening to low sub bass synth, bass pedals, and pipe organ music. Douk please release an updated version that can handle down to 14 Hz ! ( maybe when you release the upcoming VU3 Pro with the blue meters ) ?
Ok, so this is not an amplifier with VU meter, it's an amplifier pass-through with VU meter. It doesn't amplify anything, it just adds a VU meter in between the power amp and speakers.
