Handcrafted in the knife capital of Japan, Seki City, the Dragon by Yaxell Sandwich Knife is unconventional in appearance—but its non-traditional design is why it excels. Shaped like a large butter knife with humped serrations on the edge, the Sandwich Knife is able to slice pastries, sandwiches, tomatoes, and more without tearing. Also, because of its wide blade profile it can easily spread condiments and icing uniformly. The blade is made from nitrogen-enriched American BD1N steel that has a Rockwell hardness of 63 to maintain its edge. Ergonomically crafted from FDA-approved resin and linen micarta, the handle feels smooth in the hand, but is grippy enough for any hot kitchen environment.
