Dmcgauley : Is there some benefit to you by telling others when they should and shouldn't buy a product. Do you gain something if something doesn't buy the box. The direct cost from Wizards of the Coast was over $70 per box. What price do you want or expect the box to sell for...

scedaveBecause you are guaranteed to lose money vs buying singles. Even if you get miraculous pulls. DGM is one of the saddest sets Wizards ever put out. Check out MTGStocks if you want further evidence of how sad.
If you want the few good mythics or rares from DGM, you will save tons of money buying singles and skipping all the bulk rare garbage in the set.

DmcgauleyMaybe some collectors or players simply like opening product and this is a very inexpensive box to buy and open. It isnt always about the cheapest way to get something. Millions of people go to the movie theater every week and pay $10-$15 to see a movie that they could easily see for free or a few dollars if they wait until it comes to On Demand. Then on top of it they pay $15 for a popcorn and drink that they could have bought elsewhere for $3 or made at home for even less.

scedaveYes, because cracking packs is directly comparable to going to movies on date nights.

DmcgauleyCracking packs is directly comparable to doing anything for entertainment.. Do you not get it that some people simply enjoy opening packs of Magic cards just like people enjoy opening packs of sports cards. How hard is that to understand.

DmcgauleyDragons is a bad set, but this is cheaper than most gamestores. Ebay might have better prices, but some people just don't know MSRP
