These are shipping much later than last time. I would have bought at my LGS(for a total of $1 per box more) if I knew it wouldn't ship until well into the week after the cards came out. Pretty disappointed in this drop.

izlosstHey @izlosst, sorry to disappoint you with the fulfillment timeline on this drop, but hopefully I can explain why we are going to be shipping by 3/31 (and not the exact day of the release).
On drops like this, we work closely with our vendors who are also running their own local game stores. The release of the new set is invariably a busy time for them as they are fulfilling orders for Massdrop community members and taking care of their local gaming community at the same time.
While a lot of our drops have fulfillment times exceeding 10 business days from the end of the drop, we are acutely aware that participants in presales want their cards quickly and we have pushed up our timeline as much as possible without negatively impacting our vendors' local players.
So, our expectations of our vendors on M:tG releases are generally that they ship out by the Tuesday following release. However, we have some excellent vendors that often exceed these expectations and get the orders out by the end of the weekend.

cameronbachmanHey @cameronbachman , living in New Zealand the card prices can be pretty tough here and I was wondering if you guys could maybe help us out by trying to make some Magic sealed products available to New Zealand, seeing this booster box at 85 usd is a sweet deal for me, equating to 113 nzd, when my local store sells them at 180 nzd upwards. Even with shipping it'd probably only cost me around 140 nzd and I would love to get a box or two. Thanks :)

BritishBoyI would love to help you out, but our vendors are pretty strictly limited to sending sealed product to US addresses.
One of the things that we try to do occasionally is offer drops of cards that are not sealed (Like this one a couple weeks ago: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/unhinged-full-set-of-commons?s=unhinged). On those drops we can send them wherever we want.

cameronbachmanOkay thanks a lot! Hopefully someday in the future we'll be able to get some of those sealed products! :) For example, the modern masters booster bundle! You guys definitely have a good thing going here, keep up the good work! :)
