o_O To be a "draft bundle", it should be including Khans packs as well. Why not do 8, 8, and 8?

gilby123There are no khans packs in any sanctioned draft format that includes Dragons of Tarkir. Draft is 2 packs of DTK and one pack of FRF, sealed is 4 and 2.

InsideReticleReally? I thought Tarkir was supposed to be the last of the 3 set blocks, which make a set for the block one of each?

gilby123No. We are in the middle of a Standard reformatting. Dragons (DTK) draft is with DRK and Fate (FRF). Also, DTK will not rotate out with Khans (KTK) and FRF. Instead it will be paired with the new core set, Magic Origins coming out in July. After that, they will be switching to no core sets and just two-set blocks, Standard, of course, being the latest two blocks. DTK and MO will form the first in the new Standard block.
edit: So yes, you were correct in that DTK is the third in the Tarkir block, but it's also the first in the new-standard block.

gilby123That might be a good idea, but they wouldn't call it a draft bundle. This is how the Tarkir Block was meant to be drafted. First was Triple Kahns, then KKF, then DDF because Sarkahn is a jerk and let the dragons kill most the Kahns. In fact I am surprised you remember they exist, that was a millenia or two ago.

oyster450Technically it was FKK, not KKF (newest to oldest).
But yes, that was the rundown.

gilby123Dragons of Tarkir is the time line shifting so it makes it so the Khans timeline never existed. That is why it is not included in the draft pack. It is also not included in the sealed boxes for prerelease.
