If this is the exact design of the Edwin Jagger, you need to know that it will give you a very close shave, so you need to be careful that you dont cut yourself.
The angle of my Edwin Jagger De89bl is very close and it does not take a lot of time to get a baby smooth face, with properly heated beard, pre-shave oiled, and a good hot lather.
If you are new at this and would rather ease into it, something like the Feather razor would be easier on the face and not as apt to cut.. I have the Feather as well.. Good luck !

frandancoThe EJ DE89 is one of the most recommended razors for beginners. It is one of the least aggressive razors on the market. So for anyone that is buying this drop, if this is a re-branded EJ DE89 you are going to get a pretty damn good razor. I have been wet shaving for many years and the EJ DE89 is easily my favorite razor and I own quiet a few.
