The Drop + Alpha Industries Godspeed Flight Jacket is a fun, elevated product, and a nod to space exploration and our Mech Keys Community. With MiTo designing four custom Velcro patches, the flavor is all Godspeed. This allows you to mix and match any way you like. It's a legitimate flight jacket with elevated touches, such as softer predominantly peached cotton fabric and a double zipper with authentic replica details—down to the same contrasting zipper tape as the Gemini jacket worn by James Lovell of the Apollo 11 crew. Also, if you feel like a cleaner look, the patches are completely removable and the Velcro is “dyed to match,” so the Jacket can be worn without any messaging at all.

And "Flight Jackets" Are complete garbage mostly coming about from "Progressivm" Which does not use leather, waste of time for this money. High Quality leather actually makes pre existing use of materials from COWS, when right tanning is made due to its lifespan vaslty outdoes emissions/Lifespan as long as its actually worn. These "Flight jackets" which most would not want to be seen in public in this is not authentic, or good it just looks silly. Yea can be worn without messaging if you want to be laughed at or violate dress codes for improfessionalism.

This "Jacket" would not compare to the quality of leather its NOT more sustainable than High Quality Leather made from modern tanning methods as its not as durable. Counting transport emissions its worse for the enivorment not better you robotically tout that "Progressive' ways of manufacturing must be better and base your entire life savings on it because a company told you so, just like a robot. Sorry your robotic tantrum dbeunked.

I wouldn't buy this jacket either, but it has nothing to do with whether or not it's made of leather. Flight/Bomber jackets can be made of any material, just like any other piece of clothing. Are your shirts and pants all made of leather too? I've been meaning to get some leather underwear and socks. Point me in the right direction?
In all seriousness, don't assume people's views on politics, economics, or corporatism if they haven't mentioned it, because the truth of the matter is (as in this case) you don't know a single thing about their beliefs and commenting on it makes you look stupid - not them.

It's a fact Leather from modern tanning methods if worn for the time it's capable of being worn for is better for the enivorment that's a fact no "Manufacturing" PHD needed.

And when it comes to leather being "better for the environment" than fabric - let's briefly pick apart this odd statement built on a mountain of assumptions:
1. That the purchaser will actually keep the garment and wear it long enough to a) not ever buy a replacement and b) not supplement their collection with a jacket of any other material in the interim
2. That the emissions from cattle farming and tanning aren't malignantly affecting the climate due to poor regulation and fracking violations on a massive scale
