Very solid finish! Spot on off-white!
After owning a Black DropAlt this one caught my eye, with some new keycaps I had my eye on, this would match this colour perfectly. Spot on, I love the result and it keeps on making its way back on my desk.

Would have been perfect, if not for poor QC.
Putting it together was simple, everything fit as it should; except for stabs. The stabilizer switch slots look visibly narrow than the others. The enter key area especially is so tight that stabilizers can't even move. I pulled stabs from another keyboard to check and they fit worse. Thankfully the space key area is better than the others, and after filing down the back and front housing of a pair, they worked well enough to not restrict the movement of the key. I just gave up on the other three; it doesn't hurt their functionality. Surprisingly no real issues inserting switches, firm fit but not too tight to break or remove them.

Looks amazing put together and is functional, but the issues really killed my enthusiasm.

For something that I did not originally want, I sure do LOVE it.
Yeah, I didn't see myself buying an off-white color in the beginning. I was still waiting for Drop to offer their Space Gray high profile case as a standalone purchase. But then I saw pictures of the upcoming MT3 3277 and just knew this was the perfect case to partner with it. Packaging was handled well and the case showed no dings or scuffs. There was one tiny imperfection, a burr, on the bottom. Reassembly from low to high profile also went well. I do have to repeat what other reviews have said that the plate cutouts for switches can vary from extremely tight to just right. But with a little care when removing your switches (as in, grasp the latches on the top and bottom of the switch with your remover, then wiggle it from side to side while pulling up), I found I could remove mine easily without damaging any switch housings. Color is as advertised, which is great. It serves as a solid base for gray to black keycaps like GMK Nines, any of the WoBs, MT3 Susuwatari, or the aforementioned 3277. Sound is also definitely improved over the low profile Alt. My v1 Drop Holy Pandas sound so much fuller in this that it's a totally different typing experience. I would definitely pick up the Alt case foam combo from MKUltra to help dampen the empty spaces inside (it will fit, you just need to make a couple of cuts). Overall, a solid product. I would rate it 4.5 if I could.

Looks Great with some issues
I have to say this looks better in person, but like many others there are some tolerance issues with the plate its a very tight fit for some switch. I half broke my switch trying to pull it out. Now that i have it fit Up i'm probably not gonna changet the switches just because i'm afraid of what might happen when i pull out the switches.

Stunning case
Managed to grab this when it came up for sale again after checking every day (just in case!), delivery was reasonably quick to the UK after having paid the usual import charges. The quality of the case is fantastic, no imperfections, quite heavy and solid and I love the off white colour. I used my old Massdrop Alt PCB from the low profile version to this one with no issues, bought some Gateron Yellows, Gateron Stabilizers, Stupidfish foam, KBDFans Stab foam and the MT3 Susuwatari key caps to go along with it, no issues at all with fitting anything in, it is a bit of a tight fit with the foam but it does manage to squeeze in and it is worth it as there's no pinging at all. All switches and stabs went in without issue and the fit is "just right", lubed the Gateron Yellows with Krytox 205G0 and the stabs with 205G0 on the stem and Permatex 22058 on the wire and they sound and feel incredible, couldn't be happier with them, never thought the Drop Alt would be my end game but I don't see a reason to change from this, for the time being at least. I did have one little issue with the magnets on the back, when fully screwed in one was rattling but I just took them all out and put some little pieces of foam in their place.

Not pleased. Not pleased at all on this deal.
First, the case is beautiful. I've said it a 100 times: I don't know who DROP pays to work their cases, but they do the best job inside and out that I see on a consistent basis. However, probably 2 dozen clients later and this is the first case I have had serious issues with, and it my own. While I have it working, finally, everything feels out of alignment. Every other switch doesn't fit into the PCB and I borked the pins on 40 something Gateron yellows thinking that they went in. I disassembled and reassembled 3 times thinking I must have misaligned it, but how could I when the plate is integrated and it has PCB has guideposts. I finally got HALO Trues to work, my least favorite, by angling the switch in. They always bend or brake on the left side, but never the right. I eventually got some pro purples work in certain spots. I can't figure out why, but my z gets stuck. It is more like the switch is a super tactile. It's only stuck at the top. If I flip the spacebar in reverse like I like it, it pushes up against the C, B, and M keys, and barely has space the proper way. The whole bottom row looks out of alignment with caps on. Many keys look out of alignment. See images. The comma looks twisted. I had these keycaps on another board, so I know it isn't the keycaps. My right cherry stab for my spacebar started not raising back up after press and had this horrendous sound after a few days and I discovered it cracked. My backspace key is starting get that same noise. Not sure how. Never happened to me before, and I had to replace it with an extra GMK I had. Though I have in this thing in working condition, it sounds okay, and the case looks really pretty, I would like something that didn't feel or look so
