Overall very pleased with my Drop Alt Keyboard. The only thing that irk me was that my left alt keycap was misaligned upon arrival and when i took the keycap out to see what the cause was, i found out that the halo clear switch was damaged. The keyboard still functions normally, but i paid a premium for this so of course i was taken aback by the slightly damaged switch.

Great entry level board for the price
I recommend this to all my friends that want something straight forward but with a high ceiling. Since its hot swap it has tons of potential.

Have tried a bunch of brands with different switches and have always returned those boards. This board is fantastic for a beginner like me and the heft on it is absolutely heads and tails beyond anything else I've tried. I purchased this also because of the QMK configuration: all those other boards tested and didn't like at least half of them had horrible software which made the user experience less than enjoyable. The only thing that I've come across is that once I've set a led pattern, every time I unplug and plug back in, it changes back to a default pattern. Unrelated to the board itself, I unfortunately did have to pay for duties coming across the border to Canada ($40 CAD), so bear this is mind if you are concerned and should factor this in that you MAY need to pay extra on top of the cost of the board.

Good bang for your buck
Great features! Love the RGB and hot swap sockets. Keyboard feels solid, but wish it had less ringing when hitting keys hard.

This keyboard is endgame material
I love this keyboard!. High quality everything, qmk firmware, slick design. I cant ask for more from a keyboard. With the mods I made to it, it is absolutely perfect! The mods: Stabs: Clipped, balanced wires, lubed, band-aid mod Switches: Halo True: krytox 205G0 lubed (oil for springs) and filmed Case: DIY plate and case neoprene foam.

Great Keyboard
Awesome keyboard coming from a Corsair K70. I opted for the Halo Clear's which are noticeably heavier than the Cherry MX Browns. I quickly switched to using the QMK configurator which makes the experience way better. I'm a computer engineer, so the idea of flashing firmware was actually a benefit for me; not a scary thing for a novice. The rattle on the space bar was not as bad as some of the videos online made it out to be. Also, I realized how bad the rattle from the Corsair was.

Decent starter board, made better with some mods
Pros: good build quality, QMK compatible, hotswap, included keycaps are some of the best backlit ones I've seen. Cons: doesn't sound good, especially with the low profile case. This can be partially mitigated by lubing switches, lubing and/or replacing stabilizers, and adding foam or rubber either inside the keyboard or underneath it. If you're concerned about how your keyboard sounds, there are better sounding keyboards in this price range, but none come fully assembled and ready to use like the ALT.

Incredible quality, functionality, & design for the money!
I had high expectations going into the purchase of this keyboard, and so far they have all been met. The overall quality is very high, especially for the relatively low price. I love that it has a USB-C passthrough to use for connecting a mouse, and the RGB lighting is especially vivid and adds to the overall aesthetic of this small and low board (if RGB lighting is your thing). For the small size, it has some decent weight to it, and the build quality appears to be solid too. I bought it with the case (which is also very nice quality & fits it very well), and honestly have nothing negative to say about it as of the time I'm writing this review after using the board for a couple weeks.

Great Idea, Execution Needs Improvement
Full disclosure, I returned mine. For the price I paid, I was kind of expecting more. Like 5-pin compatibility, for example. I was hoping for a solid foundation on which to explore switches, caps, to build up to my end game board. This thing being 3-pin only means that if I ever did find my switches and they happen to be 5-pin, I'd have to buy a second set because I irreparably modified my first set. Also, I don't like having to buy extra foam and having to modify something this expensive. The aluminum deck and 65g springs pinged really bad out of the box. Like, audible without having to put your ear close bad. Like a mini M1 Garand. That's acceptable for a $100 is board where I'd still have budget left over to buy mods, not a $200 board. I don't hate this board, I just didn't think it was worth the asking price. Solve for the bad ping and 5pin compatibility and I'm all on board with the next revision. Oh and better stabs, please.
