Great keyboard let down by some very small but irritating flaws
Firstly I'm overall very happy with this keyboard and think it's a pretty great entry into mechanical keyboards for people.
However there are some very irritating flaws that I find detract from my overall enjoyment;
- The stabs it ships with are really bad, they're rattly and felt scratchy even after lubing so I swapped these out for genuine cherry ones but even after band-aid modding these they still seem pretty loud
- It also doesn't support PCB mount stabs limiting the steps you can take to try and alleviate this.
- Because of the otherwise very nice aluminium body it trends towards being a quite loud keyboard no matter what switches I put in. You could probably work around this a bit by putting in foam in the spacebar and throughout the body.
- The PCB doesn't support 5-pin switches! If you've bought some nice zealios or similar you'll find yourself having to make the choice whether to stick with whatever came with the board or permanently altering your switches to fit into the board.
