Hey everyone, we wanted to provide a quick update regarding the specs of V2 ALT, CTRL, and SHIFT keyboards—specifically, the bottom case foam. The bottom case foam spec on the product page has been updated to reflect production units, which use a PE foam in the bottom of the case (all other foams are PORON and IXPE as noted in the specs). V2 keyboards were in production when the decision was made to normalize all foams to PORON in the Foam Upgrade Kits, hence the discrepancy between the two products.  As always, we continuously evaluate our products and community feedback to make minor adjustments going forward.  As usual, you may review your order at any time by going to your transactions page here: https://drop.com/transactions Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Sincerely, The Drop Team

I guess I can’t review maybe I got mine on Amazon or something. Just wanted to say I love this keyboard. Oh how I wish it were wireless but everything else is awesome. I think this is the board that turned me into a MKer. Love the LED, love the 67 key rather bare naked frame and raw ness. The magnetic legs just speak quality to me for some reason. This thing has served me well on all major OSes. I seem to recall there is actual reasons for the lack of Bluetooth but if not please guys build it and I’ll buy it. Don’t care how much it costs.

I just have a one question and that's covering behind the scene question as well - are you man enough to own this. For ALT v1 (which I own) there's multiple threads on your platform and all over internet when people had a problem with static. To the point that disconnects happen multiple times a day - same for me. Cable change, connecting to usb hub rather than directly to mobo nothing really helps. Therefore, have you resolved this issue with this version - I really wanna buy it but because Imma located in EU it's not really possible to return a product.

I prefer the high profile version of this keyboard to this one but regardless they are both great keyboards especially if you're someone that doesn't mod or hasn't taken the stop to start modding. https://www.amazon.com/Massdrop-ALT-Mechanical-Keyboard-Programmable/dp/B07WC6PF7G

I have purchased this with the recommended Drop black and white coiled cable with a YC8 connection. This won't work with my ALT V2. Typing does not produce text on my computer and The lights remain off until a key is pressed, when it lights up for a fraction of a second. The ALT V2 works with my other cables. Has anyone else had problems with non stock cables? This cable was a recommended accessory which is a bit frustrating.

Hello! I just received my PCBA upgrade for the V2 and I’m wondering if the hot keys for controlling LED patterns and lighting have changed. When using the current hot keys (e.g. Fn + X) they do not behave as expected. Fn + X is supposed to turn everything off but for me it jumps to a single pulsing color. Not sure if my board is faulty or what might be the issue.
