Drop + Bees.Keys GMK ZX Keycap Set

To find inspiration for our latest GMK keycap set, we traveled along the space time continuum and the color spectrum—or, should we say: the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Captained by the imaginative designer Bees.Keys, our expedition led us straight to this colorful typing icon of the 1980s, and we quickly got to work emulating its signature style. Among the many meticulous design choices by Bees.Keys, the rainbow ribbon on the case of the original Sinclair ZX Spectrum keyboard was repurposed into a gradient across select keycaps. Complementing this gradient, dark-gray keycaps with white top legends and red front-facing legends (top legends are doubleshot, front legends are pad printed) faithfully emulate the caps and case legends on the original ZX Spectrum. Finally, for a sculpted typing experience as satisfying as the colors themselves, expansive R0 – R5 kitting in Cherry profile offers a truly elevated feel with retro appeal.
