Beautiful, but the typing experience is nothing special

They look gorgeous - so, bravo for that 👏. Otherwise, I can't believe I dropped $150 on these. In terms of feel and sound, I really can't tell any difference between these and, say, the stock keycaps that come on a Rainy or Crush. The deeper sculpt in lieu of raised tabs on the F and J keys is praised by some, but I find it annoying. So far my fingers aren't registering this subtle indicator, and every time I reset my hands I'm looking down to see where they are. This was my first set of GMKs, or any high-end keycaps, so I wanted to see what the buzz was about. I like them just fine, and the experience is better than some of the very cheap and thin keycap sets I've bought in the past. But I don't see what sets these apart from most sets in the $30-40 range.
