No 6u centered stem, no spacebar kit, then it’s a hard pass for me. Absolutely no reason why this shouldn’t have separate spacebars. Not like they don’t have the tooling to do it.
if this ever gets a 6u spacebar kit I’ll buy. Otherwise I’ll stay away

I notice that there are a number of questions about the kit. I was wondering if anyone is going to answer them, or is it all printed up and not going to change now, so maybe our questions are irrelevant?

It does look really great for a 40s board with those extra labels... in fact it feels like that's primarily where you'd use it. I do fancy something like this for a Keychron Q9 actually... or a V9 if they ever make one and this would go well on it.
A couple of questions;
- Is it me or is it missing a key to go next to a short ISO left shift?
- Why no blue R5 layer key to match the blue legends? I can use a blue shift I guess but the angle will be wrong and the logo isn't quite right
- I was going to ask why the international set was missing the blue shifts but then I realised that the international set is missing the blue and purple legends on the QWERTY row.. why? I liked the idea of having an international set with a £ logo there as well but without the legends then it's only of value to a 60% board, not a 40% board
- Does the international kit come with both pages? if so, cool but still missing the QWERTY layer legends :(
- I think an R3 1.75 control would have been nice... or a non-stepped layer key...

fyonnFor everyone's information, I asked the question about legends on the international kit to Biip on reddit and he responded:
"This would have required more keys, and I wanted to clearly differentiate these two basic kits."
I asked why and he said
"Since the alphas num rows are different depending on the layout 😅"
I personally disagree and think that they're already making extra keys for international, if you need a couple more to make it work then do it. with all the extra labels then it feels like the is an idea set for small layouts such as 40% but if the international kit is missing those legends then it's value is greatly diminished for me. I think the normal base kit would make for a potentially great 40% but not the international kit. Based in the UK this has changed the kit from buy to umm...
Shame as I really like it too.

Absolute fan of my MT3 Extended 2048. Hopefully MT3 Operator will be great too.
Have you planed a "baguette" Kit (ISO-FR), and/or a BÉPO kit ?

Ray21Yeah, this is a deal break for me. Can't remember the last time that a base kit didn't have R3 crtl (usually standard and stepped too).
Please fix as I'm ready to pull the trigger.

i think adding 1.5u purple fn key would be a good idea. might help with some alice layouts were people want this next to the solace bar.
6u spacebar might be a good add on for some hhkb.
last for the Nomad kit, it would be cool to add a key that’s “ , but also has ; : in purple and blue like the number sublegends.
love the international kitting and that the ortholinear and 40’s kit is together in one kit. Wish there was a vender for the international kit cause getting it to the eu is a little expensive but it is what it is.
