Good Sound, Small Footprint
The BMR1's are an improvement over the Logi Z200's they replaced, that said the BMRs' cost 300% more. When using the 3.5 jack, the speakers produce a loud "HUMMMMMMM" when connected to my old macpro, however they are tolerably silent at idle when physically connected to my M1 mini. A couple times I've had drop out issues with the bluetooth, requiring a power down of the speakers, & a system restart on another occasion to get the sound back. The BMR1's show up as connected in the System Settings/Sound menu during the aforementioned interruptions. The lack of an external volume adjustment, is odd; additionally not being able to power them down is another negative. As for the sound, the hi's/mid's are ok, definitely a lot more punch as compared to the slightly larger $30ish Z200's.
