This is my first MD pocket knife. So I love this knife, but am also disappointed. First, I love the Wharncliffe blade. The action is VERY smooth to open and close the knife (others had issues with it). Also like that there is a replaceable/removable guide on the framelock. The platinum frame is very light weight. I bought this to use as a gentleman's pocket knife so I'm also liking the deep pocket clip. My disappointment is with the finish. I purchased the blue anodized version and the color really didn't match what I was expecting. The finish isn't durable and scratches VERY easily. On day one, I accidentally tucked the knife into the edge of my front pocket and the finish was torn up within a matter of hours. Needless to say, this now gets tucked into my back pocket.
