I ordered the kit waited the number of weeks 2 days before my kit arrived I got an email saying I wouldnt get the switches for another month.
The ad says "most" after market keycaps fit . I already had a set of new double shot Corsair keycaps ..they don't fit.
so now that I have to buy from the poor selection of left over key caps they have remaining.
Now were looking at almost $400 for a keyboard that has no "f" number's (so much for getting into the bios)
And im not sure but I dont see a Control/Alt/delete combo.
I will be returning it,
Honestly $400 for this thing is insane! I'm going to take my $400 and get the best (wireless) gaming keyboard and mouse that money can buy...and have money left over.
What happened to the drop that got goods cheaper because of volume sales ....this def aint it
Would not recommend to a friend.
The reason your Corsair keypads wouldn't fit is because Corsair uses a non standard layout for their bottom row of keys..for some reason. Coming from someone who used to use exclusively Corsair products it's probably because they want you to buy their keycaps. Also, this is a 60% board.. there is no dedicated F row, delete, and other keys. However all those functions are still available using the FN key. Fn+2 would be "F2" for example. The draw of buying these kits is being able to put together something exactly how you like it with your preferred switches, and key caps. All of the "gaming" keyboards come with mostly the same switches.. but with this kit the sky is the limit. Lasty, welcome to the world of custom mechanical keyboards.. where you can spend $400 on just a set of keycaps. You think this is expensive? Look up Keycult.
This is one of the most uninformed reviews I’ve ever seen on drop. It’s 60% size. You’re using proprietary keycaps for a standard layout.
Every issue you have with this board would be easily remedied by 8 seconds of reading and or 2 seconds of looking at the thing with a semblance of brainpower.
Wow, instead of just doing the research prior.
