I'm wondering is this keyboard compatible with pom jelly keycaps & zealios v2 65g? I'm new here and I don't quite get the north south stuff and I'm not sure about the unit of the spacebar on that board

Sawangmentioned above, but the hot swap sockets support 5-pin. spacebar looks like standard 6.25u, as well. keycaps need to be compatible with switches, rather than the keeb.

SawangFrom what I can tell, the POM jelly keycaps are OEM profile (which is taller than cherry) so there shouldn't be any problem with those. North vs South facing LEDs is pretty much only for thick doubleshot keycaps in cherry profile.

phaustusThanks for the info do you think it's a standard 6.25u spacebar like @momentais said ? And last question do know which board will I need to chose in the QMK configurator to update the firmware ?

SawangCan confirm that it's a 6.25u spacebar. A 60% is 15 units wide. There are 3 modifier keys in the bottom left of 1.25 units each, then another 4 in the bottom right corner; leaving us with exactly 6.25 units for the spacebar. If the spacebar had been 7 units, you would see an equal number of modifier keys on either side of it: either 3 (Tsangan layout; also comes in Winkeyless version) or 2 (HHKB layout; uses blockers in each corner). In both cases, the spacebar will look centered on the board. Note that since this is a hotswap keyboard, you cannot change the layout, only remap which key does what in QMK. Also, since this is meant to be an accessible product, my guess is that the PCB comes pre-flashed with the correct layout (i.e. you just add switches, keycaps, plug it in and you're done). Unless there is something terribly wrong with the current firmware, you probably wouldn't need to flash it.

SawangTerribly sorry for not replying sooner; it almost slipped my mind o.0 You shouldn't need to touch the firmware at all to change your keyboard input method (i.e. changing from, say, US English to Azerty or Dvorak or anything like that). All of that can be done within your OS' region format and input language settings :) (in Windows, you'll find that in the Language -> Keyboards control panel; not sure about MacOS) If, however, you were saying you'd like to use the ISO layout instead of ANSI (ISO is the one where the enter key looks like a big upside down "L" instead of a straight bar), then that will unfortunately be impossible. That's one of the few downsides of having a hotswap board instead of solderable (but even then, with solderable, you can't later change your mind about your layout). Basically, there is a difference between input method (pressing which keys will generate what characters) and layout (the disposition and shape of the keys on your keyboards). Hope that clears it up a bit :)
