Makes a light board hefty

This weight adds an almost essential feeling amount of weight to the board. It does not effect the typing sound as far as I can tell but for some reason I am happier knowing my keyboard is that much heavier. Combined with the aluminum case, this weight is a very nice addition. I recommend waiting for a sale.

Beautiful finish

The multi-color chroma is very well finished and looks amazing... I know it is at the bottom side of the keyboard and you rarely see it. It does add quite a bit of weight and seem the effect a sound of the board as well. Worth it for me with a KBC discount.

Silver Mirror PVD adds a small amount of weight

At the discounted price, it’s a good addition to the CSTM65. It adds a small amount of weight over the standard aluminum weight, but not enough that it really affects sound. Just adds a little flair to the underside of the board.
