Easy install, click clack

Once I realized I wasn't screwing the board or the Drop Phantom stabilizers in it was pretty straightforward to put together. The sound seems to get more smack! than thonk! without jumping out and causing problems in the community.

Brass Plate

I was looking for ways to make my CSTM65 as heavy as possible just because. With that, I noticed the Brass plate was heaviest. Since it’s primarily used for gaming, the typing feel wasn’t as important as the sound. It’s louder, for sure, but it sounds stiff, like a solid, certain thock. Typing feel was the same, stiff, exact. Nothing bad with that, personally I like it. Plus it’s going to be fun to make this tiny keyboard heavier than it looks.

Carbon Fiber Plate

As expected, it delivers a high-pitched sound, but perhaps due to the characteristics of the case, the sound is more subdued. It’s a sound that’s suitable for office use as well.

FR4 is my fav so far
