Next are two PVD-coated stainless steel options: a stainless steel weight with a chromatic PVD coating, and a stainless steel weight with a mirror polish and a black PVD coating. Physical vapor deposition (PVD) describes a variety of vacuum deposition methods used to produce thin coatings on metals, ceramics, glass, and polymers.
