It's been almost a year since I bought it. But already 4 keys are having some chatter issues.
It's not too bad, but it happens sometimes.
Changing the switches didn’t help, so I think the problem is with the PCB.
Other than that, it’s a great product for the price. It’s easy to mod and easy to build.
Loved this keyboard. I received it quickly from Drop. The keys are so nice. I thought at age 73 I could get by without the 10-key. Well, I do a lot of work with spreadsheets and a lot of numerical data and I quickly found out it was too burdensome for me to do without the 10-key. So, I had to send it back, reluctantly.
The return process was long, however, Drop kept me posted on the progress, which was very cool of them.
It really is a nice keyboard and I would not hesitate to buy from Drop again!
I bought this recently because I wanted to make a custom LOTR keyboard. I also bought the Elven cover to snap onto it and used the keys that were included in the ENTR version I had purchased in 2023. It sounds better with the included switches AND they’re hot swap in case I want to change them later.
This keyboard is great. Love all the custom options. Great for someone looking to keep their setup constantly spicy like a chameleon. The build is treat too. This is my first mechanical keyboard after years of fully built work stuff and so far I'm very pleased.
I loved my CSTM65 so much that I had to get the CSTM80 for work use. I work remote, so I really wanted my work keyboard to be exactly like my CTSM65. One thing I did notice was that the switches (chose the Milky Yellows) seemed much more lubed than the Milky Yellows in the CSTM65. Albeit, I went with the barebones CSTM65, but just food for thought. The sound, keycaps, and overall customization of the keyboard is great. Definitely recommend!
I've only had this keyboard for a about a month or so, but I love it so far. The sound of the key presses is perfect and I added one of the pop-on/off decorative covers and it was the perfect compliment for my set-up. Also quite enjoyed the fact that the lighting on the keyboard is built in instead of being controlled by an pc app.
10/10 so far!
I gave this keyboard a try because there was a little discount for it during Christmas. The CSTM80 exceeded my expectations greatly. It feels and sounds so much better than my $200 Logitech and Razer keyboards. RGB is nice too although the stock keycaps don't really show off the RGB well. There is so much customizing that you can do with this keyboard. It is an excellent keyboard for people new to the hobby.
