When Black and Grey Become Boring
While not inexpensive for two pieces of aluminum, these cases will add some tasteful color to your desk.
I especially recommend Midnight Green and Burgundy. Do reference the customer photos for a more accurate representation of the cases' actual colors.
PLEASE NOTE: To exchange your stock CTRL case to one of these, you must completely disassemble your keyboard... yes, that includes every keycap, switch, and stabilizer.

Beautiful Case
I got the Midnight green case for my boyfriend for Christmas coming up... and I already know he will love it. The case is heavy and quality wise, I am very impressed. I have made quite a few keyboards now for people I know, and Drop is always a great company to choose from. The color is gorgeous with a matte finish, and the overall aesthetic is well worth the buy.

Loving the darker purple tone of this chassis
Nothing much left to say in regards with reviewing the keyboard's functionality-wise that hasn't already been covered in other reviews. Mine instead I'm focusing on how nice and cool the aluminium chassis looks in this darker purple tone, understated yet sleek.

This thing looks great. Unfortunately, the magnetic riser feet were missing the rubber pads, but that was easily remedied on my end. I'd still recommend it.

Change up the style without needing a new keyboard
I wanted to be able to change up the style without having to purchase a whole new Drop CTRL keyboard. I got the keyboard in the high-profile model so purchasing the low-profile case and a different color would allow me to with just a little work make it appear like I have a completely new keyboard.

Easy to put together
I bought the Midnight Green case, to build a CTRL from scratch. Once I'd got all the parts together, the assembly was a breeze.
The only observation I would make, and it's neither positive nor negative, is that the screws supplied are hex head, rather than the crosshead that come with a pre-assembled keyboard. The supplied allen key works fine, but it was a surprise that the screws were not the same.
