Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). It’s a concise and comprehensive overview with links to some great sites that go deeper. He also has a separate Links about keyboards page. My keycaps came with two C's and no V key. I contacted support and will update with what they say. Other than that all the switches and LEDs seem to be working. However, I really can't give more than 3 stars with the wrong keycap on a $200 board. Hopefully it can be resolved. Halo Clears are amazing, I like them more than MX Clears already.
Edit: I was offered $35 for the wrong keycap. alternativey I could have sent the board back for a full refund.
Additional complaints i have the board are the very very rudimentary online configurator. With it you cannot customize RGB animations. I had to learn how to program in QMK which was challenging but doable.
