Better than anything I currently have.
So far, I've used one keyboard for a long duration of time, Logitech G Pro. It is quite well built and has good feedback. All of that was dwarfed compared to what I got here now. CTRL is quite honestly the most robust keyboard I have ever felt. The switches are also a considerable upgrade. I opted for Halo Clear switches and I think I made the right choice. They are a bit heavier than the Romer G Tactile on the Logitech, but they do offer more stability and overall better feel. Main reason why I decided to go with this as opposed to a generic "Gaming" Keyboard, is because some of my key caps broke on the G Pro. My cat tipped over a lamp and it destroyed them (the cat survived). I tried to order replacement keycaps but it turns out there is no availability for Romer G style switches that I have. I didn't want to deal with that so I decided to buy something that can be easily upgraded and personalized if I wish. This keyboard is an exceptional "beginner" board. I know there is a huge spiral downwards once you try a real quality board but this at least gets me going. I'm not too crazy about the "gaming" style nowadays and prefer a more muted and minimalistic approach. This board delivers.
If you have got this far, thank you for your time. I think if you're starting to get into quality products, this board will set you in the right path. I recommend changing the Stabilizers to Cherry MX ones. The stock ones are quite horrid to be honest but they don't take the shine away from the keyboard. There is so much more you can do but I think I'm done typing for now. Hope you find this helpful. Stay safe!
