aaronanpkuI'd call it a matte gray, but is more of a light/medium gray with bluish undertones. The color is actually nice (although not the color I was looking for).

kittykatmaxI would say "nice" is very personal standard against your expectation. Glad that although the color is greatly different it fits your personal preference, but for the rest of us who's not so lucky, we are really just in this for the color that was rendered. Group buy should be less like a grab bag and leave the guess work out of it.

aaronanpkuIt actually does NOT fit my personal preference, and I stated as such. I bought it expecting a charcoal/dark gray and I WANTED a dark keyboard, since the rest of my system is either dark gray or black. I also absolutely HATE the alpha keys against it, because the alphas are a brownish-gray to the case's blue gray, so it's visually an awful, awful combo. The mod keys are also super contrasty vs. the render. Just was making an observation that the color is (generally speaking) IMHO pleasant.

The way I feel about group buy is that the your disappointment = difference between render and final product X wait time, so I am afraid this will have some non-trivial amount of disappointment. But there seems to be people that actually like the shiny silver color, so see you in r/mechmarket! :D
