Another problem I noticed having had this for a slightly longer time now... My desk is basically a docking station. I've got the one USB-C cable from my PC to monitor, and then keyboard and mouse are plugged into the USB ports on the monitor.
Well, when my PC isn't docked, the keyboard blinks a low red in the front right of the keyboard. Just really odd and slightly annoying behavior when the room is otherwise dark. Not sure what the purpose is, or if it's even intentional.
jhoff80It's actually the orange glow from the MCU LED indicating there is power going into the keyboard.
The blink will also indicate which USB C connection is been used once the keyboard is fully booted. I'm guessing since your monitor is always powered, the keyboard also considers itself fully powered.

YanboWuThis is normal for the orange light to blink? Happens to me when I turn on the switch to my computer's PSU - but not the power button.
MattdotdotYes it's normal. That means the keyboard is getting power from your computer.

YanboWuAwesome. Thanks Yanbo - loving the keyboard so far (Kaihua Speed). Also, would you know if using the same cable from my Ducky One 2 TKL is safe for the Alt? It too is a USB-C 3.0.
