When I unplugged usb cable and plugged back , the LEDs preference is not saved (it revert back to initial rainbow pattern). Is it normal? Also one of the screw on the bottom fell out and I can't screw back in ...seem like the screw did not reach the pcb plate inside :(

mboonchaiI think everyone's resets on unplug, I'm going to assume you will need to configure it with their configuration tool when it's out and flash that on the firmware for it to stick as the default but I could be wrong
EDIT: changing the led_setups array in led_programs.c to hold your desired configuration first seems to do it. I compiled it to be yellow first and flashed it on. Also messed with the breath settings and default brightness, can't wait to see what else I can get into on this!

devonwarrenMy K-Type didn't reset but maybe the CTRL is different.. that would be disappointing!

BlueCrownedI'd have to look more at the code. It's likely possible to store the LED setting in EEPROM so it's retained across power cycles/dfu resets.

FastRedPonyCArYou'd have to clone the qmk repo and then edit that file and build the firmware locally (after adding/editing the keymap to your liking).
