Got my CTRL, figured I would outline my thoughts since delivery.
Overall, it feels well built, it is quieter than my K-Type and feels smoother to type on (both Halo Trues). It is also darker than the K-Type which is great. I can't reproduce the metal feet sliding off, but they occasionally make a sound if the keyboard shifts at all which is a little annoying, I think I prefer the K-Types foot as it feels more planted. (But they probably altered this to improve sound?). The little instruction note with all the LED functions is really cool, and luckily I do not have any wrong keys or bad LEDs. In general in my limited experience this seems like a well built, quality keyboard; typing on it is pretty great.
Getting to my main gripe, the colors really do not match the renders, and that is frustrating. I understand it's hard to accurately represent a final product with renders, but the difference is significant in my opinion. It's especially noticeable when you look at the difference in the original rendered cable color compared to the case. Most people were excited about the drop because it seemed like a "black K-Type" or "dark grey K-Type". In reality it's more of a space gray, not really dark, but not as silver as the K-Type. I think most people will be pleased with the quality of the keyboard barring unfortunate defects, and typing on it is nice. But I am definitely disappointed in the color.
EDIT: As I was typing this there was an official response to the color concerns. I think it's great they are offering refunds, and standing by the community response. I'm torn on returning as the keyboard feels well built, but ultimately it doesn't match the color scheme I intended to go with.
