edit: I know the above is a bit juvenile and hard to read, I was pretty frustrated at the time.

xformulaxWell, that took much longer than I would have liked. If you need to swap a stab under the casing, you'll need to pull the switch itself to get the bar in/out but that's easy with the sockets and included puller. Pull both dummy switches and the bar out (the dummies have a small release tab, top center of the assembly), assemble, and replace as a "unit"... if you try to work around one dummy switch at a time you may get lucky but you'll likely waste a lot of time (and marr your stems).
edit: if you chew up a stem (even a tiny bit) and it wont securely hold your cap, you can put a small piece of plastic film in the key side socket and push the key back onto the stem, it'll add a tiny bit of tension and keep your cap in place (my space-bar started acting like a see-saw, i was using tweezers to try and hold the stem while replacing the stab and even though I used smooth ceramic tipped tweezers, it still marred a little before I finally finding a video showing exactly how these type of stabs work (I've never had a board with these, or hot swap anything.)).
