Just received my keyboard, it's definitely lighter than the renders, but still darker than how it seems in most of the photos here. That, I can live with.
I do, however, have a defective LED at the bottom left corner of the diffuser which is OFF when set to RED, and TEAL when set to WHITE. I'll be putting in a ticket and hope they'll do something about it, like send me a couple of the LEDs or something.

SiegChapsI have the same issue but on the top left corner of the diffuser. I hope they give us a solution.

SiegChapsThe LEDs are four pin SMT types, but the pads are nice and big so soldering then won't be too difficult (if you have any experience with SMT soldering anyway). I'd much rather get replacement LEDs than send the whole board back if that turns out to be an option. Hell, if they can just supply the MPN for the LEDs used I'll order some myself and take care of it.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
