I have a question that hope some can help:
Is there a way I can config a default LED profile so I don't have to go back to default pattern which is too bright everytime I reconnect?
Thanks!

aaronanpkuTHIS... It's a pain to have to re-set the profile every time my computer is re-started or wakes up from sleeping.

aaronanpkuAt the bottom of the "led_programs.c" file is an array of the led programs. Move the one you want to the top of that list and it'll be the one loaded when the keyboard boots up.

saxmanAlso, if you use a powered USB hub, the keyboard won't lose power when the computer sleeps. The LEDs will go dark, but when the computer wakes up the keyboard will revert to whatever LED settings you were on when it went to sleep (since it never actually lost power).

chucktdriscollThanks! This is actually good to know. I am not using a powered usb hub and I feel this is related to another major pain point for me: CTRL doesn't wake up my Mac/monitor.
I own two other boards: WASD and Varmilo VA68, both would wake my Mac/monitor up after it goes to sleep. But I am having problem figure out how to let my CTRL wake up my Mac now...
Any idea? Is this related to the power-off of the CTRL board?

aaronanpkuHard to say for sure. My Mac wakes up from keyboard input on my CTRL, but I do have it connected to a powered hub. Alternately, the SMC/PRAM on your Mac may be in a bad way, so you could try resetting those.
