JadMaktabiYou'd be hard-pressed to find a metal keyboard with RGB lighting, fully-programmable, with hot-swap switch sockets for less than this drop. And by hard-pressed, I mean you won't find it.

XylemI was surprised to find that the barebones is 150. I just wished they also had an option for keycaps plus board :( I like the keycaps but i hate hako switches

JadMaktabiAgree, 200 bucks for a tkl prebuilt. No thanks, say what you want about Corsair but the only feature this offers that my k70 lux doesn't is socketed switches. And it seems to me the only reason to change switches is because you don't like there ones that are in it. So save 50 bucks and get the switches you already know you like.

Xylem150$ with keycaps would make sense. you're paying 150$ for a bare keyboard.

Robert_DThe corsair isn't all aluminum and doesn't come with PBT caps and doesn't have edge lighting. These features cost money.

nickh0mieOver a year and a half ago when I wrote that comment I was.
I can't think of a single all metal hot-swappable TKL with RGB for less than $200, but I also haven't been looking at TKL's recently. So I am only moderately sure now. :)

Robert_DIt's so you can take the switches out and lube and film them. This takes a lot of time but makes your keyboard feel really good. Also, I have had a switch break before and my board wasn't hot-swappable which is why I got this.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
