The keyboard itself has a great look and feel to it, I enjoy the way it looks. The halo clears feel amazing to type on. Unfortunately for me my keyboard arrived with a large portion of the LEDs being stuck or tinted blue no matter what I do to flash it. I am thinking there is poor quality control.
Here is the keyboard with the default flash on what is supposed to be green, as you can see on the right side the switches are stuck blue.

Here is the keyboard from the side, even the side underglow is stuck blue.

EDIT 9/23: So after waiting for Massdrop support to get back to be I decided to go ahead and open the keyboard up to see if there was any visible issues internally. As I was continuing to take it apart I loosened one of the back screws and that fixed the issue immediately. I think the screw was overtightened at the factory causing it to mess with the LED controller. The screw was one of the ones on the bottom. Now that the problem is resolved I can say that this keyboard is amazing!
smileybarryI have submitted a ticket to them, hoping I don't lose out on the switches when replacing the keyboard as the halo clears are out of stock now.
Ashen924150Did they get back to you? I still have not gotten any emails back from them. Also think this problem QC related and not something that broke in the way. If that was the case it speak bad for the durability.

Similar issues here. I love the feel, sound, and functionality of my board. By the lighting makes me feel sad. Keycaps I don't mind, I know what those keys are supposed to be anyway (gives it character :D) but the lighting failures hurt.
Ashen924150Hey, do you know specifically which screw you loosened? I may try this fix. It looks like Massdrop support is still MIA after almost a week of waiting for a response to my support ticket.
Ashen924150That worked perfectly. Good to know there was a simple solution. Still waiting to hear back from their support regarding dead red-channel LED's along the out edge, and bad caps/switches. But this helped a ton!
Ashen924150Ahhhh...unfortunately did not work. It shifted the LED color for the "K" key to the correct one, but now the "L" key has the same symptom :(.
Thankfully MDrop Support reached back to me today so I will be getting a replacement sent my way soon....
dakkraI have the same issue with the keyboard but mine is in two different areas one on the right side of the arrow keys and the other near the space bar
arish_alyI figured it out. The reason for this issue is that there is some sort of contact being made with the mother board and the aluminum frame. You want to separate them somehow. This can be done by pressing certain areas, loosening some screws or just tapping the bottom and hope it sorts out. Good luck.
