I received my CTRL keyboard, unfortunately it arrived with a pretty serious LED issue:

Looks like the PCB was either damaged or badly soldered and not correctly QC'd. I have a cluster of keys that don't correctly display the set color. When I remove a switch in push on the PCB directly with my finger, I can get the LEDs in that area to change color, which seems to point to a damaged PCB. I've submitted a support form to MD about the issue several days ago but have yet to receive a response. I am assuming it needs to be replaced.

moonuxDid you get a reply from Massdrop Support yet? I also had the same issue though it was limited to just the "K" Key's LED.

JoncolecioHey Joncolecio I got replied back from Massdrop Support yesterday offering a replacement or partial refund. I sent them the ticket last week on the 18th.

moonuxhi, sorry about your situation, but can I ask, how did you get the colors to change like that? There's no instructions with my board!

moonuxMan, I just received my board and I have the exact same problem as you and in the same exact spot! If I press the board around the FN key or the FN key itself, they will display as they should. I'm about to file a complaint but the real problem would be going trough the customs again, since I'm outside the US. Probably it's not worth it, but what a shame! how can this go trough QA without noticing?

JoncolecioThey got back to me yesterday, it took about a week or so for them to reply. They are offering a replacement, refund, or discount.

ddoughIf you hold the function key there are a number of led control combos with the a, d (patterns) keys, w and s for brightness and z and x (I think) to toggle on off.

stengunReally, that's crazy. From reading the comments, it seems like there are a lot of issues with the LED lights on this board. If you do end up keeping it, one solution I found was to put some thick cardboard between the PCB and the case in the area behind the L key. This pressure on the board seem to fix the issue for me. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

moonuxProbably I'll try to further investigate this issue, since it seems to affect only the lighting part of the pcb. It could be a bad solder or wathever. If I find something better than a cardboard I'll share it here, thank you for your advice

moonuxHey just wanted to clarify. Did putting the cardboard completely fix the issue? Or were some LEDs still wonky?
