I know this is a silly question but what switch type is in the picture? Watched the Jays2Cents video and he mentioned the silver speed switch, but I see the cherry mx brown rgb as an option. If I get the silver switch, is rgb still illuminating through the switch and the key cap?

Knight1374In the product pics those are the Halo Clears. Unfortunately it looks like the silver switches, which are Kailh speed silvers, are no longer available. All of the switches available have shine through housings.

Knight1374Gatteron speed switches are RGB compatible. I have several including silver, gold, and bronze. Get them from Novelkeys for faster shipping and good pricing. Cherry browns are crapola compared to many other tactile switches. I've had browns, and they ok for entry level boards, but honestly you can do better.
