Too many bad switches... Basically unusable in its current state. I had to order switches separately from massdrop, so when they finally arrive and I change them it should be fine.
disqardI replaced them too, months ago. And indeed it works fine. But that's not the point. The point is that we all paid a premium price for a premium keyboard and we all have defective switches. Switches that we actually paid for. So then we all had to pay extra for additional switches and replace on our own a defective part of this product. It sure doesn't sound nice, does it? And even after all the people that have complained about the same issues, no action was taken by Massdrop regarding this issue. The least they could do is have a discount or a partial refund for switches if you've bought this keyboard, because guess what! Chances are you just want to replace the original defective ones.
Sorry for the rant, this keyboard just frustrated me a lot. When I buy something and have it shipped halfway across he globe and pay import dues etc, I expect it to work. Returning it for a refund is not an option if sending it back will cost me half its original price.
aristathTotally agree. We shouldn't be expected to pay additional costs to make up for the lack of testing, and poor product quality, on Massdrop's side.
