So I was trying to place an order like an hour ago and I also sent an email and ask if the CTRL keyboard with white box switch is ready to ship? 20 mins after Tyler emailed me and said it is back order and don't know when they will have stock again??? I am confuse! It clearly said it is in stock and I really love to place an order but what happen???

sam0329Thank you for sharing your experience. I also ordered a Kaihua Box White switch model a few days ago and have heard nothing since then. I was allowed to order but have not heard any updates on this order for over 5 days. My guess is that it is indeed back-ordered but Massdrop is not notifying customers. Public Service Announcement for Prospective Customers: Be prepared to wait LONGER than Massdrop's estimated ship date for certain switches. It would be a good idea to reach out to customer service before ordering so you have realistic expectations of when this keyboard in your desired configuration will actually ship out and reach you.

sam0329So after a couple emails exchange with Tyler he told me whatever can pick from the drop down menu is available. This is getting really weird and can I trust these guys????

sam0329Hello again. I think the customer service front-end is telling you based on the best information they have. There seems to be a disconnect between the customer-facing portion and the logistical back-end. My experience is that there will be a long delay. If you are ok with eventually getting the keyboard (which I think will be a decent product), by all means go ahead and order. Just don't be disappointed if your item doesn't ship multiple days past your order date. Best of luck and do keep the community posted on your experience whether they ship on time or you are kept in the dark on order status.

sam0329Yea seems to be the white ones. I got Halo Clear and it's already shipped within a day.

goemon_ishikawaDHL informed that the shipping method chosen by Massdrop is for a 14 days delivery service, which only starts counting after the package has been received. My package took 3 days to be received by DHL, and now finally at a stage where they have registered that they have it. 14 days and counting... then I can be a happy bunny (hopefully no defective units...)

sam0329@RiValTine , thank you for sharing your experience. I will follow suit and provide mine as another datapoint for the community. I ordered a CTRL Keyboard with Kaihua Box White switches on NOV 25. I had about 5 days of silence and received a shipping update near the close of business on NOV 30. As noted by other customers, this is just a label created by Massdrop and there is no estimated shipping and delivery date yet until the courier receives the item to ship. Lastly, for US based customers, at least for this instance, the shipment is coming out of the US East Coast.
