Hello everyone, does anyone else have problem with Fn + W(increasing brightness) not working? I can lower the brightness but not increase it. And even lowering is not responsive either.

ShunnyBunnyBy default, the keyboard starts up with its LEDs at full brightness. Do you have any devices plugged into the other USB-C port? The keyboard is designed to lower the maximum brightness of the LEDs if it is providing power to another device. This keeps the overall power draw below the limit for the USB port on your computer or USB hub.

jxliuThanks for replying. I do not have another device connected to the keyboard. I have tested my ctrl on few more computers. 1. My main desktop(very new), brightness problem. 2. Macbook pro 13inch, works fine. 3. Roommate A desktop, works fine. 4. Rommate B desktop, brightness problem. Roommate A also have the ctrl keyboard he picked up few months back(different switch type), and it WORKS on MY desktop. If I do the (Fn + shift + control + I) I read this somewhere on massdrop communities. Then my keyboard brightness increase will work. So my questions are: is there a reason why roommate A's ctrl works fine on my machine, but the new one I just bought does not. Also, what does (Fn + shift + control + I) do exactly? I can't seems to find documentation on this anywhere. p.s. Instead of emailing you guys, I thought chatting here would benefit the communities.

ShunnyBunnyfn + shift + control + I overrides the automatic power adjustment. We don't recommend disabling it. Would you be willing to help us live debug the issue? It would require flashing your keyboard with debug printing enabled, installing QMK Toolbox or HID Listen, and getting on Discord so we can chat with you.

jxliuI’m down, just not sure if we can work out a time. Assuming you guys don’t work on the weekend or pass 6pm East Coast time.
