UPDATE FOR MAY 20th-MAY 28th PURCHASERS
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out to let you know we’re tracking a bit behind on production for your CTRL keyboard and now expect to ship around July 1st. We’d like to offer our sincere apologies for the delay in sharing this information.
If you’d prefer not to wait the additional time, you can cancel your order on your transactions page: https://drop.com/transactions.
Thank you so much for your patience. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our Community Support team at drop.com/support.
JaleesaGHi I ordered my drop curl keyboard around April 20-28 should my keyboard already been shipped because I haven’t gotten any emails or packages
I also would like to thank you for helping and communicating
keyb0ardcatI'm in a similar boat. April 14th order. The last update I received via email was that they were expecting to ship mid-July due to COVID. Not quite sure how their process works but as a customer I'd expect April orders to ship before late May orders? Idk, I haven't gotten any shipping updates.
JaleesaGSo, update for the update? You guys missed your first deadline and now your second. Now, delays are understandable considering the state of the world, but you could at least inform your customers ahead of time. It's just simple professionalism, you know?
What's the current status on the keyboards? You keys keep taking preorders for more keyboards but a ton of us are still waiting and aren't hearing anything at all from you.
JaleesaGI feel like this is the perfect case study on what not to do for anyone running customer service. Three of the worst things you should do as a business: 1) Overpromise; 2) Underdeliver; 3) Communicate poorly with your customers.
JaleesaGI emailed support and they responded today "The status shows as Packed which means your order will leave our warehouse shortly. It usually takes 1-2 business days from here, and you'll receive an automated email with tracking information."
If I don't get that email in 2 days, then I'm ordering this keyboard off amazon prime and then returning it (for free) back to amazon once this one comes. I suggest others do that as well.
HydroHomiesBut.... why? That just sounds so incredibly stupid; it would make much more sense to send the Drop one back and just keep the Amazon one since you're already using it.
NightmarianTechnically I could return the drop one to amazon if they're identical (no serial numbers).
Two reasons why I would process the return through Amazon: 1. The Amazon keyboard costs about $20 extra (shipping and tax included) and 2. I was reimbursed for the drop order through work, so preventing that order from being refunded is more convenient
